Outdoor learning and wellbeing for children, adults and families in Scotland
Welcome to Under The Trees
Under The Trees Ltd has been around for over 13 years! That’s more than a decade of delivering a wide range of outdoor learning opportunities and we have loved our outdoor journey so far.

We began as a trading name for our project development manager Jess way back in 2011, ultimately becoming a company with charitable status in 2018.

Our Ethos
Under The Trees is an outdoor learning charity that provides inclusive learning opportunities for all. We work within our community, working with all age groups, backgrounds, and abilities.
​
We look at the barriers that prevent our communities from accessing the outdoors and try to find ways to overcome these barriers.
​
We achieve this by applying for funds to cover the costs to sessions, but also to alleviate poverty around food and clothing.
​
We provide a safe outdoor space, and staff who are trained and passionate about the outdoors. Each team member at UTT has their own interests and skills that they bring to the role. Sessions are designed to be inclusive for all.
​
We are based in Falkirk but we cover Central Scotland and beyond. Contact us to discuss how we can help you with your outdoor journey!
What do we do?
We engage with the community through a wide range of public events, as well as through our ongoing work with schools, groups, early years settings. We can also cater for young people and adults.

We can help you to feel confident leading your class or group outdoors by providing you with the skills and support to do so through one of our many training options.
We encourage you to come along to our events and have lots of fun, get muddy, climb trees with your family, all while building happy memories and learning about our natural world!
